SWEDISH TRIATHLON CUP 2023
During the 2023 season, we are testing a new approach to the Swedish Triathlon Cup. There will be different competition levels that generate different numbers of points. The four sub-competitions with the highest points for seniors and masters, (three for juniors, youth, girls/boys) are then added together in the total when a winner is to be chosen.
The association cup remains in a revised format - placements up to 25th place generates points for your association. We hope for increased participation in all classes with the new arrangement that offers STC events in more places in the country on more occasions.
Masters total is a completely new concept where masters compete against each other during the season, regardless of class, for the overall victory in the events that are part of the scheme. The points are calculated according to a system similar to golf's handicap system, depending on which age group you belong to. Which competitions are part of this concept will be announced shortly.
More information about which competitions are included in the cup, and what level each competition has, will be available after a contract is written with the respective organizer. We will also update the competition calendar on STF's website.
